Coyotes Recall Bolduc and Rundblad from AHL

GLENDALE, ARIZONA – Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have recalled forward Alexandre Bolduc and defenseman David Rundblad on an emergency basis from the Portland Pirates, the Coyotes’ American Hockey League affiliate (AHL).

The 6-foot-2, 200-pound Bolduc has appeared in seven games with the Coyotes this season. He has recorded 24-27-51 and 90 penalty minutes (PIM) in 56 games with the Pirates. The 27-year-old native of Montreal, Quebec ranks second on the team in goals, tied for third in assists, and leads the team in points.

Bolduc was originally drafted by the St. Louis Blues in the fourth round (127th overall) in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.

The 6-foot-2, 195-pound Rundblad has appeared in eight games with the Coyotes this season recording 0-1-1. The 22-year-old native of Lycksele, Sweden has recorded 8-26-34 and 22 PIM in 44 games with Portland this season and leads all defensemen on the team in scoring.

Rundblad was originally drafted by the St. Louis Blues in the first round (17th overall) in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.

The 6-foot-2, 195-pound Rundblad has appeared in eight games with the Coyotes this season recording 0-1-1. The 22-year-old native of Lycksele, Sweden has recorded 8-26-34 and 22 penalty minutes (PIM) in 44 games with Portland this season and leads all defensemen on the team in scoring.

Rundblad was originally drafted by the St. Louis Blues in the first round (17th overall) in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.

Coyotes Recall Rundblad, Assign Miele to AHL

GLENDALE, ARIZONA --- Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have recalled defenseman David Rundblad and assigned center Andy Miele to the Portland Pirates, the Coyotes American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate.

The 6-foot-2, 189-pound Rundblad has played three games for the Coyotes this season. In 32 games with Portland, Rundblad has collected 6-17-23 and 10 penalty minutes (PIM). Rundblad ranks fifth on the Pirates in scoring and leads all Pirates defensemen in points.

Rundblad was originally drafted by the St. Louis Blues in the first round (17th overall) in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.

The 5-foot-9, 175-pound Miele has played one game for the Coyotes this season. In 40 games with the Pirates, Miele has recorded 11-16-27 and 41 PIM. Miele ranks third on the team in points.

Miele was signed by the Coyotes as a free agent on April 2, 2011.

Coyotes Recall Rundblad, Assign Stone to AHL

GLENDALE, ARIZONA – Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have recalled defenseman David Rundblad and assigned defenseman Michael Stone to the Portland Pirates, the Coyotes American Hockey League affiliate (AHL).

The 6-foot-2, 190-pound Rundblad has played in three games for the Coyotes this season. In 34 games with Portland, Rundblad has collected 6-19-25 and 16 penalty minutes (PIM). At the time of his recall, Rundblad ranked tied for fourth on the Pirates in scoring and led all Pirates defensemen in points.

Rundblad was originally drafted by the St. Louis Blues in the first round (17th overall) in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.

The 6-foot-3, 210-pound Stone has appeared in 10 games for the Coyotes this season. The 22-year-old native of Winnipeg, Manitoba has played in 33 games with the Pirates in 2012-13 collecting 6-16-22 and 16 penalty minutes (PIM). At the time of his recall, Stone ranked tied for second among Pirates’ defensemen in goals and ranked second in assists and points. He led all Pirate blueliners with five power-play goals.

Stone was drafted by the Coyotes in the third round (69th overall) in the 2008 Entry Draft.

Coyotes Recall Klinkhammer from AHL, Assign Rundblad to AHL

GLENDALE, ARIZONA – Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have recalled forward Rob Klinkhammer from the Portland Pirates, the Coyotes’ American Hockey League affiliate (AHL).

The 6-foot-3, 214-pound Klinkhammer has appeared in 53 games with the Pirates this season collecting a team-leading 14-30-44 and 36 PIM. He is tied for tenth in the AHL in points and leads Portland in assists while ranking third on the team in goals.

Klinkhammer has posted 0-2-2 in 16 career NHL games with the Chicago Blackhawks and Ottawa Senators. In 2011-12, the 26-year-old native of Lethbridge, Alberta collected 12-23-35 in 35 games with the Binghamton Senators (AHL) and 0-2-2 in 15 games with Ottawa.

Klinkhammer signed with the Coyotes as a free agent on July 13, 2012.

The Coyotes also announced that they have assigned defenseman David Rundblad to Portland. He has appeared in eight games with the Coyotes this season. In 34 games with the Pirates, he has recorded 6-19-25.
